Frank Audoux, owner of the Parisian bar >Craven<, is a cocktail archaeologist and author. His area of research: The intensive interaction between the avant-garde and modern bar culture in Paris in the 1920s and 1930s. Inspired by his research, he created an aperitif with orange notes and bitter aromas. Alexandra Schmedes, an organic winemaker from the province of Toledo in Spain, supplies the red wine. Gerald Schroff, a liqueur expert from Berlin, Germany, supported the development of the recipe. The result is a truly European drink that is best enjoyed on ice, with a dash of soda and orange zest.
