Pears on a white towel to use in a pear margarita recipe

Fruity cocktails just scream summer fun. Typically though, flavors like strawberry, peach, pineapple, and citrus are the ones you think of. Well, this frozen pear margarita recipe is here to shake up your cocktail game! Delicious pear juice brightened with a dash of lemon and a warm touch of cinnamon syrup makes this the perfect refreshment for summer evenings.

Flavored Syrup

An easy way to give an interesting twist on your cocktails is to create flavorful simple syrups. For this unique margarita recipe, we’ll use a cinnamon simple syrup. To make this, start with creating a basic simple syrup by combining one cup of water, brought to a boil on the stove, and one cup of sugar. Let this mixture simmer for about five minutes to make sure all the sugar dissolves. For cinnamon simple syrup, the only extra step is adding two cinnamon sticks to the water right at the start. Leave it to cool, and store in the fridge for up to one week. That’s all there is to it!

For The Margarita

If you’re feeling ambitious, you could juice your own pears for this pear margarita recipe. However, we won’t judge you for buying them at the store either. Adding a teaspoon of lemon juice will brighten up the pear juice and balance the sweetness.
